In its second quarter as a public company, professional social networking firm LinkedIn Corp. has once again surpassed expectations.

Revenue for the third quarter of its 2011 fiscal year was US$139.5-million with an earnings loss of 2¢ per share, the Mountain View, Calif.-based company said in a regulatory filing after markets closed on Thursday.
